AHS established this Fund to provide critical supports that strengthen families and promote healthy development for infants, toddlers, and expectant parents enrolled in our Early Head Start (EHS) program. While EHS is federally funded, those funds alone do not always cover the full scope of what families truly need. Often, families require “a little bit more that makes all the difference,” and your generosity helps bridge the gap between what funding allows and what children and families deserve.

Families served through Early Head Start face unique and often significant challenges, including economic hardship, housing instability, and limited access to essential resources. Donations allow EHS to provide vital items and services such as safety equipment, diapers, formula, developmental materials, books, and other basic necessities that support healthy growth, learning, and well-being during a child’s most critical early years. These supports help ensure children are safe, nurtured, and ready to thrive, while empowering parents as their child’s first and most important teachers.
