Driven by the needs of residents, the department’s extensive services and programs touch almost every sector: from newborns to senior citizens, from school-aged children to homeless families, from non-profit organizations to local employers. AHS employs a diverse workforce and works with the community and community partners to bring information about services to the community and to inform the departments about the community's needs.
